It appears that the construction has moved beyond the major demolition phase to the reconstruction phase. The structural work that was being done to the stage has been completed and the front stage wall has been rebuilt and concreted in.
The crew is working on preparing the ceiling and removing all of the can lights. This work is to prepare the way for the new, energy efficient led lighting that will be installed.
And if you ever wondered how many can lights were in the Worship Center, here is a photo of the lights all packed up and ready to ship out.
It is also great to see the team working on patching and mudding the drywall, as they prepare to paint and put up new acoustical panels.
As always, check back next week for more updates.
