Following the birth of her sister with Down Syndrome, Beverly, along with her mother, father, and brother, came to know Jesus Christ as personal Savior. Soon the family was baptized together on the same day and had the privilege of growing together in their walk with Jesus.
While at youth camp and sixteen years old, Beverly surrendered her life to Lord for whatever purpose He had in mind! She felt a call to work with children, impacting them for Christ through teaching and then in preschool ministry.
Beverly has a passion for helping parents and teachers lay strong, spiritual foundations during the preschool years. Because young children learn through play, movement, repetition, and satisfaction, activity teaching is used to teach even the youngest child about God, Jesus, the Bible, family, God’s world, others, the church, and even themselves. Teaching a biblical worldview before a child even enters school is absolutely necessary to foundationally equip them for life!
Beverly graduated from Bob Jones University with a B.S. in Consumer and Family Science and Secondary Education and still pursues graduate studies at Liberty University.
Her life and ministry verses are:
“We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done.” (Psalm 78:4)
“…Love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life…” (Deuteronomy 30:20)
