Prayer Requests - CURRENT

First Baptist Church Naples Prayer Ministry

Scripture prayers:   Be merciful to [us], O God, be merciful to [us], for in you [our souls take] refuge; in the shadow of your wings [we] will take refuge, till the storms of destruction pass by.  Psalm 57:1 (ESV)

May the God of hope fill [us] with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit [we] may abound in hope. Romans 15:13 (ESV)

Our Mission Partners:

    • Pastor Brunson - Please continue to pray for Pastor Brunson; On April 16, the Turkish judge ordered Brunson to stay in jail, setting the next hearing for May 7.
    • Pray for Pastor Jimmy, his wife and another couple from the Vietnamese mission who are in Greece for the next 2 weeks as they retrace Paul's travels there. Pray that it would give them new insights and ultimately encourage the church.
    • Continue to pray for the Romanian church's renovation of their new worship center (from an office building to a worship center). It looks like they will not make their target move-in date of May 27th. Pray that they will not be discouraged but that God would give them favor and renewed hope.
    • Pray for our Hispanic church along with David George and Alvaro Alvarez as they will be ministering to the inhabitants of the Zapatera Island in Nicaragua from April 23-27.
    • On May 3-4, Pastor John Edie of Alongside Education Ministries will be speaking at a pastors conference in Granada, Nicaragua. Pray for blessings on all in attendance and that God will use the speakers and translators for His Glory.
    • Pray for the Water for Life Initiative teams in Africa as they are currently being challenged by the rainy season. This contributes to many hardships in this ministry.
    • In the Big Life Ministries, pray for the local leaders in Cambodia, Nepal, and Uganda as they share the gospel. Pray that God will use these leaders for His Glory to speak the truth.
