Greg Clydesdale Taylor Baumgardner
MSM Pastor MSM Assistant
The MSM of FBC Naples exists to REACH non-believing students, to CONNECT them with other Christians, to help them GROW in their faith, and challenge the growing to DISCOVER their ministry and HONOR God with their lives.
Information about MSM
Weekend BLG’s (Saturday @ 7:30pm and Sunday @ 9:30am) in FL138
Bible and Life Groups (BLG’s) are where we make our large ministry feel small. These are groups of 6-8 students, same gender and grade, with at least 1 caring adult. During this time students are really able to CONNECT with other students, with caring adults, and with God. We help students take what they are learning and apply it to their everyday life.
MSMworship (Wednesday @ 6:30pm – 8:00pm) in the Student Center
Our Middle School worship service on Wednesday night is designed specifically for middle school students to HONOR Christ with friends, music, fun games, and a relevant Biblical message. This is a great opportunity to bring friends to hear a message from God’s Word. The gym and café are opened before the event.
@ Home (H.A.B.I.T.S.)
We want all of our students to develop Godly habits that will last them a lifetime. We are often able to measure a student’s spiritual growth by the HABITS they develop. We have these H.A.B.I.T.S. resources in the student ministry area. Please pick them up and use them to GROW in your walk with Christ.
Missions Teams During the Spring Semester in FL138
We want every one of our middle school students to DISCOVER their Spiritual gifts and give them opportunities to serve God in the Church, locally, stateside, and globally. We use these Sunday Nights to teach our choir, train for our mission trips, and learn to share our faith. There will be multiple opportunities to sign up to serve within our church body, help out the local community, go on a stateside mission trip, or even a family mission trip internationally.
As a middle school ministry we want to REACH as many middle school students in the SW Florida area as possible. We will do many events throughout with the purpose of having the middle school students who attend FBCN invite students who do not attend church. These events include but are not limited to MSMayhem and MSM Camp.
Mission Florida 2019
Mission Florida 2019 is wrapped! Thank you families, friends, and everyone who supported and prayed for our team... You helped make it possible for this group of students to engage in kingdom missions and what a week(end) we had! Take a look at this video to get a snapshot of some of the ministries we were able to support and serve with. You can find more photos of the trip on our Facebook Page.
8th Grade Transition
It's coming quickly! 8th grade students will officially transition into High School Ministry on June 1st. To help with that transition and give our students the send off they deserve we have a couple of special 8th grade events
Home Group Preview Night
On April 24th, the students will meet at the Student Center at 6:10pm (returning 8:15pm) to hop on a bus and head to a special Home Group Study with Pastor Andy. Edisson and Caitlin Cantor will lead discussion, Pastor Andy's wife, Jodi, will be providing a meal, and we will have two High School Seniors there to share testimonies about their Home Group experience. It will be a great night for each of them to get a taste of High School Ministry.
Camp Preview Night
We want to make sure that every student has the opportunity to grow in their relationship with the Lord this summer at Camp. The following week, May 1st, your 8th graders will join High School Ministry again for Camp Preview Night to hear about all the exciting things coming this Summer. This will be normal Wednesday night time from 6:30pm-8:00pm in the Student Center.
8th Grade Banquet
Lastly, join us on May 22nd, 6:30-8:30pm in the Student Center to celebrate the 8th grade class! This special banquet is open to all of our graduating 8th graders and their immediate families. Dinner will be provided so please make sure to RSVP for each person who will be attending in advance.
Upcoming Special Events
There are many events your Middle School student can be involved in in addition to our weekly ministry! We want to partner with you in ministry; if you have any questions about weekly ministry or special events, or if you would like to get involved in volunteering, please contact our office at (239) 449-4480 or email . Click the event calendar to see all of our events by month, or scroll down to see important information for each event.
Camp Preview Night (4/24)
Preview night is a chance for students (and parents!) to catch a glimpse of why we're so excited about camp! We will talk about some of the activities we do at camp, have a special guest worship leader (who will also be joining us at camp), and some special giveaways with prizes for both now and later to be used at camp! Incoming 5th graders will join us this night as they will be our 6th grade class at camp. 8th graders will participate in HSM Home Groups this night as they will be the incoming 9th graders.
Pineapple Mayhem (4/26)
The second Pineapple Mayhem is coming! Mark your calendars for April 26th and start inviting your friends now; this is our biggest Mayhem Night ever and you don't want to miss it.
