Our MOPS year begins Thursday, September 18th.

We meet from 9:15 – 11:30 a.m. in the Worship Center.

Our meetings will continue each month on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays. Childcare is available, but limited. You must pre-register in advance.

Registration will take place online beginning Monday, August 18, 2014.

MOPS Registration is a 2-Step Process:

Step 1. You will need to Sign-In OR create an Account to Log-in. (Do NOT create a user name for your children.)

Step 2. Once you Sign In, you register for MOPS and proceed to list your child(ren) that will need childcare.

Registration cost is $24.95. This fee goes directly to MOPS international and is mandatory for ALL moms who attend MOPS. Your paid registration will secure childcare spots for your pre-school aged children.

MOPS stands for “Mothers of Preschoolers.” It’s a place for preschool moms of all ages and backgrounds to connect, grow and be encouraged in the high call of motherhood. We do this through practical insights from God’s Word, special speakers, creative activities, and breakfast! We also get together for play dates and Mom’s Night Out opportunities. So whether you are a first-time mom, single mom, adoptive/foster mom, or already have a house full of little ones…join us!

At FBCN MOPS we believe that you were meant to live authentically and deeply.  To live bravely.  This year’s theme is designed to inspire you to choose the extraordinary and to Be you, Bravely.  Our desire is to focus on making the choices that could create the most good in our lives, in the lives of our children and in the lives of others.  MOPS-Be-You-Bravely

Isaiah 43:18-19
“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old.
Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Being a follower of Jesus calls for courage. So does being a Mother. The journey feels unexpected and unconventional. It requires us to bravely confront the fears that scare us and to hold the hand of our Redeemer who calls us to courageous acts of risk and trust. Mothering allows us the perfect opportunity to release our inadequacies and fears.

It takes courage to ask brave questions and even more courage to search for the answers. Please join us! We are so excited to journey together this year as we ask one another what it means to “Be you, Bravely”.
