Dr. Hayes Wicker, has been in ministry for over 40 years and has served as senior pastor here at First Baptist since 1992.
Dr. Wicker received his B.A from Grand Canyon University majoring in Behavioral Science in 1972. He then received his Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1975 and in 1979 received his Doctor of Ministry. He is married to Janet and they have three children: Kristin, Evan, Allyson.

Family
Janet received a B.A. from Tift College, Georgia, in 1974 with a major in Music Education and Performance (Organ), and an M.R.E from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1976. She served as Youth Director and Summer Missionary in Georgia and Alaska and as Secretary/Treasurer of the Ministers' Wives Association of the Southern Baptist Convention. She currently leads Women’s Enrichment Ministries and Refresher Women’s Bible Studies at First Baptist Church Naples. She has also directed Preschool and Childrens’ ministries and taught in our Academy.
Kristin Yeldell received her B.A. from Union University and M.Div. from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. She formerly taught on the faculty at Boyce College and served as Associate Director of Campus Life. Her husband, Eric, previously served at Highview Baptist Church as the Associate Minister of Music. He is currently the Music and Worship Minister at FBC Temple Terrace and received his M.Div. at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. They have two daughters, Mary Grace and Abigail Joy.
Evan graduated from Cedarville University with a degree in Bible and feels called to international missions. He is attending Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and working as a full-time program director for the Crossings Camps. During summers, he has served in Turkey, Alaska, Kentucky, and Florida with the International Mission Board, the North American Mission Board, and First Baptist Church. He is licensed in ministry, certified in first aid, lifeguarding, and swimming instruction, and also played a year of college basketball.
Allyson is attending Cedarville University, majoring in elementary education and is involved in speaking to teens and working in children’s ministry in her church and community. She will be serving with the SBC Centrifuge program.
